An early 2000's Borussia Dortmund design. In 2001-02, BVB won their third Bundesliga title with a single point above Bayer Leverkusen in 2nd place. The club also reached the final of the UEFA Cup, but narrowly lost 2-3 to Feyenoord. Brazilian striker Márcio Amoroso finished as joint top scorer in the Bundesliga, and he was supported by Czech duo Jan Koller and Tomáš Rosický in midfield.
Dortmund are known as Die Schwarzgelben or "The Black and Yellows," and their home kits honour the reputation. This simple but stylish bright yellow shirt is distinguished by thin black stripes that outline the body. The E.ON sponsor on the centre of the chest was a hallmark of BVB kits in the early 2000's. The design elements culminate in a classic slice of retro Dortmund fashion.
This jersey has been remade with impeccable attention to detail. It features the same collar, sleeving, ridges, and embroidery as the original.
Printing is done in the original style, as close to the authentic font and color as possible. If the jersey originally had the number printed on the front we will print this unless instructed otherwise.
Please check the measurements carefully as most people find they require a size up. The jerseys have a slim or muscle fit.
