A vibrant away design from AFC Ajax, used originally in the 2000-01 season. The Amsterdam club endured a frustrating period in years prior, but improved on their 5th place finish from the previous season to a 3rd place spot in the Eredivisie in 2000-01. Georgian striker Shota Areveladze was the marquee attacker in the team, as he notched 18 league goals in the campaign.
Blue and yellow were the away colours of choice for Ajax in this season. The colour scheme reflects a classic club template, with one shade flanking each side of the shirt, and the other shade distinguishing the centre. A stripe pattern adds a flair of style across the shoulders. The vertical off-centre print of the ABN AMRO sponsor was a longstanding hallmark of Ajax shirts, as they partnered with the club for nearly 20 years in the '90s and 2000's.
Printing is done in the original style, as close to the authentic font and color as possible. If the jersey originally had the number printed on the front we will print this unless instructed otherwise.
Please check the measurements carefully as most people find they require a size up. The jerseys have a slim or muscle fit.
