A stylish 1998 away kit design from Japan's first ever World Cup campaign in 1998. The island nation met staunch competition in their opening games against Argentina and Croatia, and were defeated 0-1 on both occasions, sealing their fate in the group stage. Despite failing to advance, a highlight of Japan's debut World Cup was the promising talent of Hidetoshi Nakata. Japan introduced themselves to the World Cup with fiery style.
This white kit features a flair on each sleeve in blue and red flames. The flame pattern is also printed subtly throuughout the body of the shirt. Blue, red, and white distinguish the folded collar, completing this classic Beautiful 90s Japan kit.
Printing is done in the original style, as close to the authentic font and color as possible. If the jersey originally had the number printed on the front we will print this unless instructed otherwise.
Please check the measurements carefully as most people find they require a size up. The jerseys have a slim or muscle fit.
