A classic late '80s design for Ireland, worn originally at the 1988 Euros, and in qualifying matches for the 1990 World Cup. The Irish were thrilled to win their opening match of the '88 Euros against England, and then drew against the Soviet Union. But Ireland failde to escape the group stage after conceding a late goal to the formidable Netherlands squad, who would ultimately go on to win the tournament. Irish luck couldn't get them through the group stage of the '88 Euros, but it certainly shines through in this home kit.
Classic green is complemented by white and orange, which add a touch of style to the collar, shoulders, and trims of each sleeve. The retro Ireland shamrock badge completes this shirt's timeless style.
Printing is done in the original style, as close to the authentic font and color as possible. If the jersey originally had the number printed on the front we will print this unless instructed otherwise.
Please check the measurements carefully as most people find they require a size up. The jerseys have a slim or muscle fit.
